As a result of the Covid situation the Fernie Golf Club had to eliminate access to our handicap computer but Golf Canada has a suitable replacement. All our members have been provided a username and password which will allow them to access the Golf Canada website. Once a member logs into the site they need to login in by clicking on the login button located in the top right corner of the screen. Once site entry is successful there are two score entry methods; hole by hole or gross score. Most people find the gross score selection the easiest method.
To post hole-by-hole, please do the following:
1. Go to “Score Centre” and click on the “Enter Hole-By-Hole Score” button to enter your
score hole-by-hole. NOTE: If you wish to track your stats, check the box next to
“Include Statistics.”
2. If it is an Away Score, find the appropriate course by clicking on the “Away Course
Search” button and type in a unique or partial name of the course. NOTE: Once you
posted a score from a course in the directory, that course will be added to your Course
List. This will enable you to find the course more quickly in the future.
3. Enter in all the appropriate information including the scorecard.
4. Ensuring all the inputted data is correct, click on the “Post Score” button and your score
will be posted to your Scoring Record.
To post an adjusted gross score, please do the following:
1. Go to “Score Centre” and click on the “Enter Score” button to enter your score. NOTE:
If you wish to track your stats, check the box next to “Include Statistics.”
2. If it is an Away Score, find the appropriate course by clicking on the “Away Course
Search” button and type in a unique or partial name of the course. NOTE: Once you
posted a score from a course in the directory, that course will be added to your Course
List. This will enable you to find the course more quickly in the future.
3. After ensuring all the listed information is correct, enter your Adjusted Gross Score and
click on the “Post Score” button. An “Adjusted Gross Score” is a player’s gross score
adjusted under Handicap System procedures for unfinished holes, conceded strokes, holes
not played or not played under The Rules of Golf, or Equitable Stroke Control. If you are
unsure of how to proceed with this, you can post your scores hole-by-hole for automatic
adjustments.
4. Ensuring all the inputted data is correct, click on the “Post Score” button and your score
will be posted to your Scoring Record.
